“Mission
accomplished for today! We had a small problem with the car Friday and I was starting to worry a little, but thanks to some help from M-Sport we got the car fixed and loaded for the rally! We did exactly what we set out to do and got through in one piece with some valuable miles under our belts and the times were very promising for our first event in the car, a brilliant platform to build on. Hopefully we will only get quicker with more seat time!! This afternoons stages were very rough so we drove through steady to avoid damaging the car for no reason! We will now have a good look through the car with 3 weeks to get things perfect for the Mid Wales Stages, we won’t leave a single stone unturned this season and will give it absolutely everything. That’s the first box ticked….””

“Great day on the Cambrian today, absolutely brilliant shakedown for the little R2T beast ahead of the Mid Wales. Very pleased with how everything went in preparation for our year in the BRC. Chuffed with all the kind comments about the car and how she looks, it’s even more of a pleasure on the inside – a good few giggles watching the faces of the start marshals as launch control kicks in on a 1 litre haha. 19th overall, 3rd in (the wrong!) class – happy boys. Thanks to Melvyn, Rhydian, Steven, Gwyndaf, Wayne for their help today. Next stop – the Mid Wales!”
